Greeley Grindhouse Celebrates Three Years of “B” Movies

Greeley-notld-poster2Greeley Avenue Bar & Grill is gearing up for a great night to celebrate the third anniversary of “Greeley Grindhouse,” with a special repeat showing of our very first feature, “Night of the Living Dead.” It’s nothing but the best in “B” movies when Greeley Grindhouse lights up our big screen. Throughout the past three years notoriously bad sci-fi classics, like 1959’s “Plan 9 From Outer Space,” have taken their turn alongside action movies, like the 1967 spaghetti western, “Death Rides A Horse” and martial arts classic, “Street Fighter” (1974), and special holiday viewings of such theatrical disasters as 1964’s “Santa Claus Conquers the Martians” (our Christmas special). And Greeley Avenue’s “Trash Talk TV” has provided us with a lot of great laughs and many harsh critiques but for our anniversary celebration the fun doesn’t stop there! Dig out your best zombie costumes to compete for one of our many prizes, including a copy of the official Greeley Avenue Bar & Grill “Night of the Living Dead” movie poster. And come hungry and thirsty because we’ll have special “zombie” editions to our food and drink menus. “Greeley Grindhouse has shown plenty of good “B” movies and a lot of just plain bad ones, and we’ve enjoyed them all,” says Mac Bell, Greeley Grindhouse host.
